Community beach fire
Join film fans from on Thursday at the Community Beach Fire on Cannon Beach! Two bonfires (one large and one small), Sunset & star gazing, Joke Swap, Thames Con treats. We will meet in the area of the Ecola Court beach access point, next to The Wayfarer Restaurant. Exact spots will be chosen on the day of due to it being a public beach. There is a parking lot across the street from Theresa's Market and street parking. The restrooms are located next to Theresa's Market. Please bring your own chairs, blankets (IT CAN GET VERY COLD!), smores and drinks. Enjoying watching Short Circuit 1 and 2 with other fans of the movie! This includes an interval and maybe a surprise introduction. This is taking place at the Liberty Theatre.
Panel Talks
We have a fantastic array of panel talks happening on Saturday and Sunday at the Liberty Theatre. Panel talks are a moderator discussions with VIP Guests.
Workshops
Workshops or Masterclasses as some may call them, are also being held at the Liberty Theatre, in the Macintosh ballroom (upstairs). A workshop/masterclass is an intimate and focused, high-level session led by an industry expert. It offers unique insights, behind-the-scenes knowledge, and real-world experience, often including demonstrations, discussion, and audience participation. This is a very rare and unique opportunity to learn from the best of the best!

Want to relive the memories of your high school prom, or fancy a do over? Come to our 80s Redemption Prom in an actual College Gymnasium! (Clatsop Community College) With DJ Snake Eyes (80s music ONLY!), Johnny 5 Dance-Off, Prom King & Queen, Costume Contest, Prom: Then & Now, Snacks & Drinks (cash bar)

Think you know your 80’s movies? Join us at Fort George for a Pop Culture Movie Bar Trivia Night — a chance to test your knowledge and win some great prizes! Grab a drink, enjoy some great food, and get competitive!
short circuit house party
For one night only, visit the Short Circuit House for a nostalgic (early) evening, and experience being “on set” at Stephanie’s House. Highlights include; Mini-guided tours (from Richard, the house owner), Drinks & snacks (we can’t promise “shrimp toast, caviar or pâté”, but there will be “cheese whiz”!), recreated set dressings & props, 80s ambient music, a chance to “Mingle with the brass”. *please note, house party is only included in the Johnny 5 and Bozo pass, not sold separately).
